What is an online notarization?

An online notarization is just like an in-person notarization with the exception that you can meet a notary from the comfort of your home using audio-video technology.

Are online notarizations legal?

Yes, online notarizations are legal. Documents notarized by me are legal and valid nationwide in all fifty (50) states.

I am in another state, can you notarize my documents?

Yes, I can notarize your document regardless of the state you live in. My commission is from the State of Florida, but it is valid and legal nationwide.

Which documents can you notarize?

I can notarize all types of documents that require notarization. If you want to find out what documents have I notarized in the past, feel free to visit the about section of my webpage.

How much do online notarizations cost?

By State Law, notaries can charge a $25 fee for documents requiring one notary seal. If your document requires more than one seal, an additional $10 fee per seal will apply.

Are you an attorney?

No, I am not an attorney. By Florida Law, I must refrain from providing legal advice to my customers even if I know the legal answer to your question.

Online notarization, what do I need?

The online notarization process is just like an in-person notarization, but using your mobile device, computer, iPad, tablet, etc. For our session you will need:

  • The document that you want to get notarized

  • The device you will use to connect (must have audio/video access)

  • A valid government-issued ID (Passport, Driver's License, ID Card, Foreign Passport*, etc.)

  • A United States Social Security Number for Identity Verification Process required by Florida Law and RON platforms. (I do not have access to this information)

*If using a foreign passport, by state law it needs to be stamped by USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services)
